Hi Lucy,

This is most probably occurring because of the sensitivity of your mouse wheel. Usually you can change these settings in your Mouse options in the Control Panel. Your current settings may be to move the screen 5 pages with each scroll of the wheel - you would want to change this to move only 1 page.

Hope this helps :)

efilms 3.0.1 When stacking thru Ultrasound images using the mouse wheel. Images are skipped.
They will go from 1 to 5 and so on.
What is causing this and how do I stop it from happening.
Thanks

Hi Everybody!

If you really wish to improve your System's Performance and wish to have eFilm Workstation to work efficiently then thoroughly clean up your hard drives, eliminate the junk data and also clean up the registry.Configure the Background processes as they use up most of the space on the Memory.

I can suggest some good available 3rd party softwares if somebody is interested.

With Regards

James

I use 2.0 and recently it has gotten very sluggish both reviewing cases and receiving them despite clearing out a lot of old studies, compacting the database, and making sure nothing else is running on the computer. Any tips to optimize it's function ?

eFilm 3.0 makes definite improvements on stacking speed (over previous versions) by preloading images into RAM, but this should be configured depending on the the capability of the PC. By default, eFilm will try to preload all viewable series. For example, if eFilm is installed on a PC with only 1 GB of RAM, you may want to change the preloading behaviour.

eFilm 3.1 will be releasing soon. This version will be built for the Vista OS due to overwhelming customer request! Another release will follow shortly after for Win2k and XP. Both versions will address some minor issues found in 3.0, such as the image Import message.

I did notice the slowness and will try this option. I want to know when a patch will be deployed for some of the bugs in eFilm 3, such as the error message that appears whenever images are imported.

I have not tried efilm 3 yet. I tried to install it a couple of times but ran into problem with installing expressSQL database etc. so i gave up on it. but i rarely have anybody complaining about 2.1.2 speed.
